Safeside Video
I came across this video years ago and decided to post it up here.. A buddy of mine actually found it at a library that was getting ready to throw it away. I actually uploaded it to Youtube to make it easier on myself and easier to find for others.
Gives you a good idea of what it was like to be in the Security Police back in the late 1960’s. Note that the combat footage in the first part of the video (Part 1) is from a battle at Tan Son Nhut in 1967 based on other footage I have.

Thanks for finding the video. It was taken at Scholfield Army Barracks, Hawaii in late 1966 and at Phu Cat AB, Vietnam between January and July of 1967. I was a member of the 1041st Combat Security (Test) team and remember when they filmed this. Thanks again for the memories.
Sounds good. I actually found it at a closing library and they were throwing it away. I couldn’t believe it. I had to put it out there.
